• Photo Annotation Text Box - Annotate photos with text directly on the photo. There is a new XL Pro Command Bar button for this feature.
• Generate Text Box - Create a text box that can be placed anywhere on the report. The text box can be resized and reformatted to suite your needs.  This feature is useful in situations where a detailed custom narrative is needed.  There is a new XL Pro Command Bar button for this feature.

New Features
• New "Start" page.  In earlier versions, when opening, closing, or saving a report file or when Macros were disabled, a "Disabled" page was displayed.  This was normal when opening, closing, and saving but it confused some users.  The Disabled page has been replaced with a "Start" page.  The Start page loads faster than the former disabled page.  VBA (Macros) must be enabled for the program to function.  If Macros are not enabled, clicking on the Start button will do nothing. 
• New page set.  An entirely new page set with more contemporary look and feel has been added.  The new pages feature column headers with options for "Inspected", Not Inspected", Not Present, "OK", "Repair", and "Defective".
• The "Reset" buttons have been replaced with Save Template" and "Recall Template".  This new feature enables the user to have multiple templates defined and to recall a blank copy of any template.
• "Goto Page" drop down menu added.  The Goto Page feature provides a alphabetically arranged drop-down list of all the pages in the "Standard Report" (set using "Set Standard Report").  Goto Page gives the user an alternative method for navigating to a page.  Goto Page allows for faster and easier navigation than the standard method of navigating pages.
• The Comments and Descriptors Library fields are larger.  The Comments and Descriptors Library fields have always allowed an unlimited amount of text to be placed in an entry but only a small portion of the text was visible when working directly in the Library.  The fields have been made larger so that more text is visible.

Note: For updates, you NEED TO UNINSTALL your last version.

To do this:
 

1) Go to the directory you installed it in, typically;
 
   C:\Program Files\XL Pro VI\
 
   OR
 
   C:\Program Files\XL Pro 6\
 
2) Save any files you have recently created to another directory.
 
   This is your backup of any files you may have recently created.
 
3) 'Double click' the file:= unins000.exe
 
   This will remove the Entire directory and any files you may have there.
 
   This is WHY you need to SAVE ALL Files you have created.

CAUTION: Before uninstalling versions earlier than 20.00, archive them in PDF format.  They cannot be edited in versions 20.00 and later.
